This list is for the discussion and planning of Maine Independent Media Center's print and web-based (at maine.indymedia.org) publications. Discussion will include layout and design, fundraising for the print publication, editing issues, content, scheduling, distribution and other related issues. This list is not directly moderated, but please keep posts on-topic (we have a separate list specifically for events needing coverage and tech issues) and respectful of fellow list members. If a member repeatedly does not follow these guidelines, they will be removed from the list. Please check the archives to see past discussions on the list. Using Meimc-publication
To post a message to all the list members, send email to meimc-publication@lists.maineindymedia.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Meimc-publication
Subscribe to Meimc-publication by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
